World Tourism Day 2023

Bolagala Agro Floating Resort participated to the World Tourism Day Celebration hosted by SLTDA on 2023. In the event, the resort project and the ultimate goals were discussed and enlightened the audience during the ceremony. The resort’s goal is to provide the ultimate experience to all guests starting from luxurious accommodation to Agro-farming which means all guests have a personalized experience on farming vegetables and fruits inside the resort as this is an Agro-floating resort.
The resort is to be powered by solar energy, but the magnitude of energy generated here allows us to share this resource with the Ceylon Electricity Board as well. we offer guests an array of village experiences to give the feel of what it’s like to be in a traditional village in Sri Lanka. From riding the bullock cart around the village to visiting the houses of local families and our mini shopping complex with traditional arts and crafts, all employ the local village folk. our resort is completely eco-friendly.
